Wounded Warriors Project

WOUNDED WARRIORS LODGE, Walter Reed Medical Center, Bethesda, MD campus. August 2014 – This state of the art facility needed to complete their 5th floor terrace and LEED/ green roof environment with ADA compliant synthetic turf surface. The Lodge will provide rehabilitation for our nation’s finest as they return from war across the globe. The outdoor setting was challenging to meet ADA compliance and not interfere with this sensitive LEED / Green Roof environment and architectural paradise. Stability and drainage issues were rampant so the experts at Synthetic Grass & Greens division were contacted. We assessed the project and determined ‘how best’ to complete this critical portion of the project . We worked closely with the engineering firm on site and the support staff at TourLinks.net. Our on-site analysis yielded that Tour Link panels applied with precision would o er the base and structural integrity which was needed in moving forward. We are proud to have been chosen to complete this project and appreciate knowing we played a small part in aiding tranquility for the Wounded Warriors Lodge in Bethesda, MD. We are proud to be an exclusive distributor and certified installer for STI - Synthetic Turf International, which is 100% made in the USA.
